Highlights from the EGPA 2024 Conference

Diogo Pereira,

The 46th Annual Conference of the European Group for Public Administration (EGPA) took place from September 3 to 6, 2024, at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences in Athens. This year's conference attracted over 593 participants from 45 countries, who came together to engage in meaningful discussions under the theme: "Strengthening Democratic Governance for Better Public Policies and Services."

Throughout the conference, attendees participated in a range of plenary sessions, workshops, and panel discussions, sharing insights and best practices aimed at enhancing democratic governance and improving public service delivery. The exchange of ideas fostered collaboration and innovation among scholars, practitioners, policymakers and Ph.D students.

We are pleased to announce that the final report is now available. This comprehensive report highlights key discussions, findings, and insights from the conference, providing valuable takeaways for future initiatives in the field.
